Hatha / Dru Yoga Flow
Hatha Yoga & Dru Yoga classes combine the best of both styles. Dru Yoga is designed to be practised by people of all levels, fitness and ages. It is based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisations. Hatha Yoga is the more classical form of physical yoga where postures (asanas) are held for longer periods, allowing a greater depth and focus.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, based on Hatha Yoga, with postures that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative approach to yoga, its goals include awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality

I teach at the Hot Yoga Studio Westminster Lodge in St Albans. All levels of fitness can attend. However, be prepared to work hard, perspire and feel like you’ve had a thorough work out. As with all yoga classes, there is a wonderful relaxation at the end. Have a look at the Hot Yoga details to learn more and also to see the variety of classes on offer. I teach at the Westminster Lodge studio on Tuesday and Friday evenings and provide ad hoc cover for other teachers.
